The cabin overlooks the boating pond, ideal for otter watching in winter, wild swimming, or morning yoga on the jetty. Step outside and straight into nature or stay indoors and watch it from the comfort of your own bed.
Every detail of this cabin has been thoughtfully chosen to make your stay both comfortable and unique. Vintage treasures—many uncovered here on site, add character. Local artworks, maps and handpicked books invite you to fully escape, either into an imaginary literary world or on a real life local adventure. A cosy blanket from the nearby Melin Tregwynt mill, cushions and throws to wrap yourself up in, create the perfect cabin retreat to switch off, unwind, and fully immerse yourself in nature during your stay.
The Holt is self-catering and everything is provided for you to create simple delicious meals in the kitchen space on the gas hob or outdoors over the campfire. It is highly insulated with double glazing and electric heating. This means that it stays cosy all year round and you don’t have the bother of lighting the fire to warm up in the mornings or when you get back from a long day’s adventuring.
The Holt cabin looks over the natural wild swimming pond; home to otters, heron, watervoles and kingfisher. Designed and built by us, this secluded off-grid retreat offers a perfect spot to unplug and reconnect to nature. A shady birch overhangs the front, creating a sense of being in the tree canopy. Lie back and watch the wildlife.

- The Holt Sleeps 2 adults and up to 3 children
- The Holt is a 1 minute walk down a steep path from the carpark.
- We provide wheelbarrows to easily transport your luggage, firewood & water container
