Perfect for cloud-watching by day and stargazing from bed at night, this secluded escape offers the ideal blend of indoor comforts and outdoor camping experience.

Camp Kitchen

This thoughtfully designed cabin has everything you need for a cosy stay, plus some unique vintage finds—many discovered right on-site. Local artwork, handpicked books, maps, of the area and a woollen blanket from Melin Tregwynt create a warm, inviting space.  A welcoming retreat where you can switch off and relax.

The Lookout is self-catering and everything is provided for you to create simple delicious meals in the kitchen space on the gas hob or outdoors over the campfire. It is highly insulated with double glazing and electric heating.  This means that it stays cosy all year round and you don’t have the bother of lighting the fire to warm up in the mornings or when you get back from a long day’s adventuring.

The Lookout is designed to blend seamlessly with nature while offering modern creature comforts. Wake up to the dawn chorus, pop out to put the kettle on and inhale that crisp morning air.  Then you can snuggle back into bed to watch the world wake up through the window, whilst enjoying your drink.  Experience the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, head out for a day at the beach before coming home to sit around the campfire under a star-filled sky, and spot the Milky Way with the naked eye. On warm days, laze in the hammock with a book and watch the birds fly over.  Nestled high on the hillside, The Lookout is our most accessible cabin retreat, just a one-minute level walk from the car park and close to the popular rope swing—perfect for families!

Practicalities
  • The Lookout Cabin sleeps 2 adults and up to 3 children.
  • Conveniently located a 1 min walk from the carpark along a level footpath, The Lookout provides the easiest accessibility of all the cabins.
  • We provide wheelbarrows to easily transport your luggage.
