Reception Area/ Derbynfa
This is the warm hub at One Cat Farm. Give us a call on the radio when you arrive and we will come and say hello, show you around and then leave you in peace to enjoy your stay.
In cold weather the fire will be lit indoors and you may find other guests in here playing card games, planning their adventures using the local information, chatting and making new friends. There is a small shop selling some basics and extra fridge space if you need it.
Outdoors is a covered space for use in all weathers with an enormous picnic table and a lovely squishy sofa, perfect for a cat nap. There are sinks for washing up and wheel barrows for transporting your luggage. At night the festoon lighting comes on, creating a magical atmosphere and during the day the light filters through the skylights so you can curl up on the the sofa with a good book even when its raining.
Next door are the 4 private bathrooms- one per cabin. Theres also a baby change area, space to hang wet clothes undercover and the boating and pond dipping equipment. This is also where you collect your daily basket of firewood.
Your car stays here in the car park- its walking and wheelbarrows to your cabin as the site is car free.
